I'm still here, but according to California preacher Harold Camping, not for long. Today's video features a report on Rev. Camping's prediction of the rapture, but more importantly (far more importantly) is the fact that Rev. Camping seems to see all the hoopla as a good thing to give his church more attention, and at the end of the report, you'll also see they've made arrangements to collect more money on the heals of this publicity. So the question is, "Is any publicity really good publicity"? Let me know what you think.

How sad! Any publicity is good publicity? Well, I suppose, though some is better than others. The good side of this predictatory fiasco (doomed to fail from the start) is that it did turn some to consider a personal walk with their Lord that they might not have considered to that point.

It is indeed sad, and troubling...as there were people who walked away from jobs, gave away personal belongings and otherwise wrapped things up based on this man's claim. My position is that not all publicity is good. The question I have is how will they clean up this fiasco in terms of PR.
Thanks for posting.

I also agree that some good did come out of this with people giving their lives to Christ. Many Christians are now talking about working harder to bring more people to the Lord.
In case you haven't already heard, the same myth propogator already has plans for October 21st, because the "May 21st was the spiritual judgment, with the physical really coming five months down the road." Can't wait to hear what the next excuse is, on October 22nd.
At best, this man is simply a pawn that Satan is using to desensitize people to their real need for a real Savior.
